1. Selecting a building
Quick Info displays the produced resource and a yellow bar indicating the building’s storage fill level

2. Selecting a scenery tile
Quick Info displays what resources you can find on the selected tile and how much of the resources are left

3. Using the alternative navigation control
Go to Alternate Controls under Settings from the Main Menu and switch your control setting

< and > Moves the board left and right
^ and v Moves the board up and down
OK Use to finish scrolling around the board
CLR Pause menu
1 Selects an upper left hex joining to the current location
3 Selects an upper right hex joining to the current location
4 Selects a left hex joining to the current location
6 Selects a right hex joining to the current location
7 Selects an lower left hex joining to the current location

Food
Be sure to produce enough food for your Townies. Do not rely on only one kind of food. It is better to produce all three kinds (fish, water, meat).
Always keep a close eye on your food production as you may overlook it while expanding your tow. If you are caught in a food shortage, buildings will stop working and the balance of your production chain will be disturbed.

Upkeep
Each building requires upkeep to work properly. Every 10 days, the required resources are taken from the harbor storage. If the harbor does not have enough resources, the productivity of the building that requires the resources will decrease. This will slowly cause the upkeep cost to go down to 0 and once it does, a building's production switches to sleep mode. In order to restart the production, the required resources have to be in the harbor storage. In case of emergency, the required resources can be bought from merchant ships with gold.
